In our efforts to battle against anti-Semitism we came to a stark realization: anti-Semitism isn’t going anywhere if our leaders don’t call it out and condemn it when it occurs. Ilhan Omar and other members of our caucus continue to peddle anti-Semitism unchecked by Democratic Party leadership. We are worried about the current state of the party, and are looking to leadership to do something about it. Let this be a wake up call that running cover for, and making excuses for anti-Semites and anti-Semitic language will allow this blight of hatred against Jews to fester and continue to grow within the party, nation, and worldwide.
